Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Watcher on the Wall ("the service") you agree to these terms. The service is operated by 3030 Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company.

Open source vs. hosted

The Watcher on the Wall daemon is open source under AGPL-3.0; you may self-host it freely subject to AGPL terms. These terms govern the hosted service only.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate email and authentication credentials.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account and for any activity under it.
  • You must be authorized to use the third-party services you configure (e.g., Anthropic API keys you provide).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass our rate limits, plan quotas, or security controls.
  • Reverse-engineer the hosted control plane (the daemon is open source).
  • Resell the service without written permission.

Plans and billing

  • Subscription plans are billed via Stripe in advance for the billing cycle (monthly).
  • Founding-rate pricing, when applicable, is locked for the life of the subscription provided the subscription remains active and in good standing.
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Plan quotas (storage, daily imports, file size) are enforced by the hosted daemon.

BYOK

You supply your own LLM API key (Anthropic, by default). You are responsible for charges your key incurs. We store your key encrypted and decrypt it only at daemon spawn-time; we do not see the plaintext value after you submit it.

Account deletion

You may request deletion at any time from your settings page. Deletion is subject to a 7-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel. After cooling-off, your wiki and dedicated daemon are destroyed. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is preserved for compliance.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no formal SLA guarantee on non-Enterprise tiers. Outages, maintenance windows, and incident history are surfaced in our status communications.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 3030 LABS' AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active users via email at least 30 days before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
